SVB–SLSC SUPPORTS CIVILIAN WAITER WITH HOUSEHOLD WELFARE ASSISTANCE

On the initiative and under the esteemed guidance of Mrs. Ayesha Liyanage, President of the Seva Vanitha Branch – SLSC, the Seva Vanitha Branch of the Sri Lanka Signal Corps extended significant welfare support to a civilian waiter serving within the Corps community.

The assistance was provided to enable the construction of a bathroom in his residence, addressing an essential household need that directly impacts the family's daily living conditions and overall well-being.

A sum of LKR 100,000 was donated for this purpose, reflecting the SVB–SLSC’s continued commitment to uplifting the quality of life of its extended family. By supporting essential infrastructure needs at household level, the Branch reinforces its dedication to improving living standards and providing practical relief to those facing financial challenges.

This welfare initiative underscores the Sri Lanka Signal Corps’ ongoing efforts to care for its personnel and civilian staff alike. Through such sustained support, the Corps remains steadfast in strengthening its community and enhancing the welfare of those who contribute to its service.
