On the initiative and under the esteemed guidance of Mrs. Ayesha Liyanage, President of the Seva Vanitha Branch – SLSC, the Seva Vanitha Branch of the Sri Lanka Signal Corps extended essential welfare assistance to a civilian waiter serving within the Signal Corps community.
The donation was made to facilitate the household electrification of his residence, enabling the family to obtain a safe and reliable electricity supply which is an essential requirement for ensuring proper living conditions and daily functioning within the home.
A sum of LKR 100,000 was provided for this purpose, reflecting the SVB–SLSC’s ongoing commitment to supporting the welfare needs of its extended family. By assisting with a fundamental household necessity, the Branch continues to demonstrate its dedication to improving the quality of life of those who serve the Corps.
This initiative further underscores the Sri Lanka Signal Corps’ steadfast commitment to caring for its personnel and civilian staff. Through such meaningful support, the Corps continues to strengthen its community and uphold its longstanding tradition of service and compassion.
