The Signals Seva Vanitha branch conducted a donation programme on Monday 23rd December. The programme was initiated with a view of supporting a Signal soldier having triplets.
The three daughters are getting ready to start their education in 2025 in Mariya Rajini Primary School, Katana. Considering the high expenses in preparing them for the school, the Seva Vanitha branch decided to lend a helping hand in assisting them.
The donation was included with books, school bags, shoes, uniform materials and other school accessories. Further, a financial donation was also made for their school van fee which will be continued as a monthly contribution.
The President of the Signals Seva Vanitha branch, Mrs Ganga Herath together with the other members took part in giving away the donations. Also, all of them contributed in creating an unforgettable memory for the three little children.
