The Seva Vanitha Branch of Sri Lanka Signal Corps (SVB SLSC) successfully conducted its first monthly meeting under the guidance of newly appointed President, Mrs Sajeewani Bandaranayake on 28 December 2025 at Regimental Headquarters, Sri Lanka Signal Corps.
Majority of members demonstrating the strong unity and commitment of the branch. During the session, several upcoming programmes and welfare activities were discussed with a special focus on initiatives aimed to support of families in Signal Corps.
Aiming at wellbeing of the families and members of the Corps of Signals, a donation programme was carried out during the meeting and provided welfare assistance to a NCO of 7th Regiment Sri Lanka Signal Corps whose family had been adversely affected by the recent calamity. This donation was a timely facilitation to fulfill their immediate needs and to reaffirm the branch’s commitment to assisting its members in times of hardships.
The meeting concluded with shedding new hope of rays to carry forward meaningful welfare projects and community service initiatives under the new leadership, strengthening the spirit of care and solidarity within the Sri Lanka Signal Corps.
