The Seva Vanitha Branch of the Sri Lanka Signal Corps (SVB–SLSC) extended its support to a civilian employee serving as a waiter of the Signal Corps, whose daughter has been diagnosed with cancer and is currently undergoing treatment, while also preparing for her Advanced Level examination in the Combined Mathematics stream.
The family has been experiencing severe financial hardship due to the high cost of medical treatment and educational requirements.
Responding to this situation, and on the initiative and request of Mrs. Ayesha Liyanage, President of the SVB–SLSC, a group of former students of Musaeus College, Colombo generously contributed towards supporting the student’s educational expenses.
The SVB–SLSC extends its sincere appreciation to all donors for their compassion and generosity, and remains committed to uplifting the welfare of families in need within the Signal Corps community.
