NEW COMMANDING OFFICER OF 12TH REGIMENT SRI LANKA SIGNAL CORPS (CS) ASSUMES OFFICE

Lieutenant Colonel NWPGP Indrajith USP SLSC assumed duties as the 6th Commanding officer of 12th Regiment Sri Lanka Signal Corps (Cyber Security) on 26 December 2024.

The day’s proceedings started by a reviewing of a guard turnout by the new Commanding Officer, Lieutenant Colonel NWPGP Indrajith USP SLSC as per the military traditions.

Subsequently, the newly appointed Commanding Officer symbolically signed an official document to signify the acceptance of the new appointment amidst religious observances.

Following the Regimental traditions the new Commanding Officer resembled the assuming of duties by planting a Sandalwood sapling followed by a group photograph. Later, he addressed the all troops stressing upon his determined ideas of the importance of the 12th Regiment and its future.

Then he joined an All Ranks tea, where he shared his thoughts with Officers and Other Ranks. which culminated the day’s proceedings.
