NEW COMMANDER 1 SIGNAL BRIGADE ASSUMED DUTIES

Brigadier PPC Perera psc formally assumed duties as the 28th Commander of 1 Signal Brigade during a brief ceremonial event held at the Headquarters 1 Signal Brigade on 29 December 2025. Upon arrival, the incoming Brigade Commander was warmly received by Major RMPA Mutthettuge psc, Brigade Major 1 Signal Brigade, followed by a Guard Turnout in respecting to the military traditions.

Subsequently, Brigadier PPC Perera psc symbolically placed his signature on an official document to mark the assumed of duties, amidst religious observances conducted at his office.

Thereafter, the new Commander posed for a group photograph with the Brigade Staff, commemorating the occasion and the event concluded with All Ranks’ Tea at the Brigade Headquarters.
