COLONEL COMMANDANT MADE MAIDEN VISIT TO 12 SLSC

The Chief Signal Officer of the Sri Lanka Army and Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Signal Corps (SLSC), Major General IHMRK Herath USP ndc psc, made his maiden official visit to the 12th Regiment Sri Lanka Signal Corps (Cyber Security) on 19 March 2024. Upon his arrival, he was warmly welcomed by the Commanding Officer, Colonel WRMR Wickramasinghe USP. The day's proceedings commenced with a comprehensive briefing by the Commanding Officer covering topics such as contemporary operations, administration, logistics, and training. Following this, Major General Ravi Herath addressed the troops and engaged in an interactive session during the all ranks tea, which was followed by a group photograph. During his address, he emphasized his vision for the future development of signallers within the regiment. Colonel Coord OCSO, Colonel ENP Gunawardena USP, and Deputy Centre Commandant RHQ SLSC, Colonel PHN Chandrasekara, were also present for the unit visit.
