The instructions of the SFHQ (West), 14 Infantry Division and Commander 142 Infantry Brigade successfully conducted a specialized training programme focused on emergency, VVIP, and self-defence skills for the nation’s tourism sector. The programme was mainly focused on hotel owners, management staff, security personnel, and tourist guides within the respective AOR.
The Commanding Officer of 1 Commando Regiment Lieutenant Colonel W W M C Bandara USP psc CR conducted the lectures for the 37 participants from 16 prominent hotels and resorts. The programme was held in a manner ensuring higher level of participation of the actively involvement of Commander142 Infantry Brigade Brig HSWK Galhenage RWP RSP USP psc and officers of 5 Field Engineer Regiment, 6 Gajaba Regiment, 14 Vijayaba Infantry Regiment and Sector 03.
