NEWLY APPOINTED COMMANDER 613 INFANTRY BRIGADE ASSUMES DUTIES

Brigadier P G C S Gallage RWP RSP assumed duties as the Commander 613 Infantry Brigade on 05th December 2024 and newly appointed Commander 613 Infantry Brigade honoured with a guard turnout.Following the military formalities Brigadier P G C S Gallage ceremonially took over his new responsibilities amidst religious observances and signed an official document to signify the assumption of his office.

To mark this significant occasion, the Commander 613 Infantry Brigade posed for a group photograph and planned a sapling. Afterwards Brigadier P G C S Gallage addressed the troops. He was emphasized the importance of discipline and its pivotal role in achieving sucess. He shared his vision for the command and outlined the goals and expectations for the brigade, motivating the troops to work together towards the common objectives.

Subsequently, the Commander shared refreshments with all ranks, fostering camaraderie.

The event concluded with comprehensive briefings presented by the Brigade Major 613 Infantry Brigade at the Officers’ Mess. The ceremony was attended by the Staff Officers, Commanding Officers from under command battalions and Other Ranks, reflecting the unity and dedication within the brigade.
