NEW GENERAL OFFICER COMMANDING OF 14 INFANTRY DIVISION ASSUMES DUTIES

Maj Gen RPS Prasad RWP RSP USP assumes duties as the 13th General Officer Commanding of 14 infantry division, amidst religious blessings and military formalities at the headquarters of 14 infantry division at Vauxhall Street, Colombo 02 on 18th oct 2025.

The newly appointed General Officer Commanding was warmly welcomed by the staff officers of the division headquarters and new General Officer Commanding assumes duties by placing his signature on an official document amidst chanting of “Seth Pirith” In the presence of all Senior Officers in accordance with the tradition. Then he addressed the troops officially which was followed by tea with all ranks.
