NEW DEPUTY GENERAL OFFICER COMMANDING OF 14 INF DIVISION ASSUMES DUTIES

Maj Gen DS Jayawardana RSP ndc assumes duties as the Deputy General Officer Commanding of 14 Infantry Division, amidst religious blessings and military formalities at the Headquarters of 14 Infantry division at Vauxhall Street, Colombo 2 on 29th December 2025.

The newly appointed Deputy General Officer Commanding was warmly welcomed by the staff officers of the Division Headquarters and new Deputy General Officer Commanding assumes duties by placing his signature on an official document amidst chanting of “Seth Pirith” in the presence of all Senior Officers in accordance with the tradition. Then he address the troops officially which was followed by tea with all ranks.
