In line with the 78th Independence Day Celebrations, troops of 1st Sri Lanka National Guard have successfully conducted a medical clinic at Neelabemma Primary School to serve the local community. The programme was carried out under the guidance of the General Officer Commanding of 57 Infantry Division, Commander of 143 Infantry Brigade and under the supervision of the Commanding Officer of 1st Sri Lanka National Guard.
A medical team and supporting staff consisting 70 members, including Consultant Dr Nalinda Rodrigo and eight other doctors. Nearly 450 civilians from the Saliyawewa area received medical care and consultations.
