Under the leadership of Puttalam District Member of Parliament Hiruni Wijesinghe, with the participation of Mr. Gayan Fernando (Private Secretary) and Mr. C Kannangara, Madampe Area Organizer, and with the involvement of the hospital Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Sanjeewa Thirimaanna, a cleaning program for Regional Hospital C Madampe was conducted in association with the Clean Sri Lanka program on 15 March 2025.
This program was carried out with the support of the Madampe Pradeshoia Sabha. Under the supervision of the Commander 143 Infantry Brigade and the Second In Command 7th Battalion Gajaba Rejiment (7 GR) with the participation of the 02 X 40 troops from 7 GR, together with the workforce of the Sanasa Federation, hospital staff and 40 civilians, ensured that Regional Hospital C Madampe was thoroughly cleaned.
