COMMANDER 611 INFANTRY BRIGADE ASSUMES DUTIES

Brigadier C P Wickramarathne RSP USP officially assumed duties as the 13th Commander of the 611 Infantry Brigade on 17 December 2024 at the Brigade Headquarters in Beragala, Kegalle, amidst religious blessings.

The newly appointed Commander was warmly welcomed by the Staff Officers and accorded a Guard Turnout by the troops of the 8th Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment. As part of the occasion, he planted a sapling on the camp premises to mark the event and addressed the Officers and Other Ranks, sharing his vision for the Brigade’s future.

The ceremony was attended by the Staff Officers of the Brigade, the Commanding Officer of the 8th Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment, Officers, and Other Ranks.
