Under the directions and guidence of the GOC 61 Inf Div, and the Supervising of the Comd 573 Inf Bde 1 X 15 troops of the 20 SLLI carried out road clearance and restoration work along the Tawalama–Pitigala main road near Ayudagala, which was damaged due to a landslide 1010 hr on 21 Oct 2025.
Troops swiftly cleared the affected area, restoring road access and ensuring public safety in coordination with the Tawalama Divisional Secretariat, RDA and local authorities.
