Under the insightful guidance of the Commander of the 141 Infantry Brigade, a psychology lecture titled “A Proud Soldier” was successfully conducted on 4th December 2024. This program was organized as part of the Training Day program and took place at the 141 Infantry Brigade lecture hall in Veyangoda. The primary objective of the lecture was to inspire and motivate soldiers while improving their understanding of personal development, social values, and professional responsibilities as proud members of the Sri Lanka Army.
The lecture was delivered by Major M H M S Bandara Lsc MI from the Directorate of Media and Psychological Operations at Army Headquarters. Major M H M S Bandara shared his expertise and insights, emphasizing the importance of discipline, resilience, and leadership in a soldier’s life, alongside the significance of maintaining a strong connection with society.
The session witnessed enthusiastic participation, with 12 Officers and 142 Other Ranks in attendance. The interactive nature of the lecture allowed participants to engage in meaningful discussions, addressing queries and sharing their experiences.
