The 10 Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment Conducted a Cleaning Program on Both Sides of the Road from Maradankani to Kadeikadu in Line with the “Clean Sri Lanka” Concept in Conjunction with the 78th Independence Day.

In conjunction with the 78th National Independence Day, a cleaning program was organized on 03 February 2026, covering the three aspects of social, environmental, attitudinal and developmental, with the participation of the troops of the 10th Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment the officers of the Maradankeni Police, civilians of the area, officers of the Divisional Secretariat, and officers of the Maradankeni Sub-Divisional Council Office, on both sides of the road from Maradankeni to Kadeikadu in accordance with the “Clean Sri Lanka” program.

This program was organized by the Commanding Officer of the 10th Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment, Major SH Sudusinghe and under instructions of the General Officer Commanding of the 52 Infantry Division Major General MN Fernando RSP and full supervision of the Commander of the 522 Infantry Brigade Brigadier JAC Karunathilaka RSP USP.
