In Line With The Concept Of The Clean Sri Lanka Programme, A Project Was Implemented To Provide Sanitation Facilities For Low-Income Families.

According to the concept of the Clean Sri Lanka Programme implemented by the present government, and with the aim of creating a healthy environment for the future generation, a programme to construct and ceremonially handed over a sanitary facility for a low-income family living in the GN Division J/353 UDUPPIDDI (N), under the Karaweddi Secretariat, was carried out on 19 DECEMBER 2025 under the patronage of the Commander, 521 Infantry Brigade .This project was completed with the guidance and instructions of the BRIG BDTD JAYARATHNA psc Commander, 521 Brigade Headquarters and with the labour contribution of the troops of the 11th Battalion the Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment. During the event, the residents a letter of appreciation was presented to the Commander, 521 Infantry Brigade. A total of 03×08 troops of the unit participated in this community welfare programme, which was highly appreciated by the local civilian community.
