Major General MPNA Muthumala USP psc, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 51 Infantry Division, conducted an official visit to 11th Sri Lanka Light Infantry, on 19 February 2025, reinforcing his commitment to operational readiness and troop welfare.
Upon his arrival, Major General Muthumala was warmly welcome by the Commanding Officer of the 11th Sri Lanka Light Infantry. He subsequently addressed the Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks of the battalion, emphasizing key operational goals and morale-building initiatives. His visit was further commemorated by the planting of a sapling on the camp premises, symbolizing inaugural visit and growth unity within the battalion.
The event was attended by Colonel KMGS Kodituwakku RSP, Colonel Admin and Quartering of the 51 Infantry Division, along with several Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks. Their presence underscored the importance of collaboration and strategic alignment within the division.
