Inspirational Lecture by Commander of Security Forces (Jaffna) to the Heads of Departments of Northern Provincial Council

At the invitation of Mr. Nagalingam Vethanayahan - Honourable Governor of the Northern Province and Mr. L Illaangovan - Chief Secretary of the Northern Provincial Council, Major General Chandana Wickramasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc, the Commander of Security Forces (Jaffna), delivered a leadership and motivational lecture on “Defining Success for Yourself and your Team to Embracing Self - Belief and Confidence” to the Heads of Departments of the Northern Provincial Council at the Auditorium of Northern Provincial Council on 18 November 2024.

The Honourable Governor, the Chief Secretary and Heads of Departments warmly welcomed and had a short and friendly discussion with the Guest Speaker before the session.

The lecture focused on the topics of identifying challenges, creating goals, containment issues, creating values, managing work-life balance and importance of teamwork. Honourable Governor, Chief Secretary along with over 100 Heads of Departments were participated for this valuable leadership and motivational training session.

The questions and answers session fittingly facilitated the department heads to get their doubts clarified where the enthusiastic participants actively interacted with the speaker to clear their doubts.

In appreciation of the intellectual assistance to the Northern Provincial Council, the Honourable Governor of Northern Province presented a memento to the Guest Speaker.
