The road running form 11 Field Engineer Regiment to Kovilakkandi village was damaged and difficult to use especially when the rainy seasons come. 01 x 15 troops of 11 Field Engineer Regiment engaged for the renovation by apply tar for the dilapidated areas of the tarred section of the Kovilakkandi road with the guidance of Commanding Officer Lt Col D M R C Dunusingha psc SLE on 04 Oct 2025.
Furthermore, the villagers expressed their gratitude for the contribution made by the troops to make this program possible and villagers say a program like this could improve cooperation between villagers and military personnel.
