52 Infantry Division troops under the supervision of Security Force Headquarters (Jaffna) conducted multiple disaster-response and public-health operations across the area of responsibility on 18 December 2025.
Due to the prevailing adverse weather conditions, there was a large amount of garbage inside the premises of the Primary Hospital in Mullian, and Troops of 10 (Volunteer) Vijayaba Infantry Regiment and the hospital staff jointly carried out a cleaning programme at the medical facility.
The troops removed the accumulated garbage, creating a clean and safe environment for patients and staff. This timely action helped the Primary Medical Care Unit staff and troops of 10 (Volunteer) Vijayaba Infantry Regiment to restore the site to its original condition.
