Major General M Rizvi Razick RSP ndu, upon assuming duties as the 36th General Officer Commanding of the Headquarters 51 Infantry Division in Kopay, Jaffna, paid visits to prominent religious leaders and dignitaries in the Jaffna area on 20th October 2025.
The General Officer Commanding first visited the Sri Nagavihara International Buddhist Centre, Jaffna, where he paid obeisance and received blessings from the Chief Incumbent, Reverend Meegahajadure Siriwimala Thero. Subsequently, he paid a courtesy call on the Rev Dr. Justin B. Gnanapragasam, the Bishop of Jaffna at Bishop House.
These visits symbolized Major General M Rizvi Razick respect for religious harmony and his commitment to fostering unity and goodwill among all communities within the area of responsibility of the 51 Infantry Division.
