Colonel KD Gothatuwa RWP RSP assumed duties as the 24th Commander of 511 Infantry Brigade on 02 December at the Headquarters, 511 Infantry Brigade - Ottahapulam, Palaly in accordance with military traditions.
Upon arrival, the Commander was accorded a Guard Turnout and warmly welcomed by the Staff Officers and Commanding Officers at the entrance of the Brigade.
