Colonel B S K Jayasundera of Gajaba Regiment assumed office as new Colonel General Staff of Security Forces Headquarters (Jaffna) on Friday 26 December 2025 amidst a simple ceremony.
After religious observances, Colonel B S K Jayasundera signed an official document and signified the acceptance of the new office.Staff Officers of the Security Forces Headquarters (Jaffna) were also there to greet him on the inauguration of his office.
