Donation of School Items and Provision of Nutritious Meals to “Athavan” Pre-School At Katkovalam

The 4 Battalion Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment which is located at Ellankulam, Nelliadi under the 521 Infantry Brigade has organized a community donation programme on 04 November 2025 at the Athavan Preschool in the Katkovalam GN Division. The programme included the distribution of school supplies and the provision of nutritious meals for 29 children and 2 teachers of the preschool, demonstrating the battalion’s continuous commitment to supporting the welfare and education of local communities. The event was held under the patronage of Major H. M. P. K. Bandara RSP USP psc, Commanding Officer of the 4 Battalion, Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment, who graced the occasion as the chief guest.
