In conjunction with the 78th Independence Day, a cleaning program was conducted at the Dharmapuram Hospital premises located in the KN 52 Periyakulam Grama Niladhari Division on 04.02.2026 with the contribution of the 6 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment and the 14 Battalion Sri Lanka National Guard soldiers and hospital staff under the command of the 553 Infantry Brigade Headquarters and under the supervision of the Commander 553 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier MPJ Muthunayake. 05 Officers with 30 Soldiers and 10 hospital staff participated in this event.
The gratitude of the hospital staff including the doctor for the program carried out for the civilian population of the area was expressed to the Commander 553 Infantry Brigade and the Army.
