Following the assumption of command, Major General KJNMPK Nawarathna RWP RSP ndu, Commander, Security Forces (Jaffna), made official visits within the AOR. Upholding military customs and traditions he was warmly welcomed by General Officer Commanding of the respective Divisions.
The Commander Security Forces (Jaffna) made his visit to the battalion level establishments and took part in series of events organized in a simple and orderly manner. In line with the visits, troop addresses were conducted, where Major General KJNMPK Nawarathna RWP RSP ndu shared his vision and expressed his appreciation for the dedication and commitment of the troops.
During the field visits, the Commander had interaction sessions with the Officers and Other Ranks where they had an opportunity to discuss the matters pertaining to welfare of soldiers, underlining the necessity of improving sanitary facilities, accommodation standards and overall living conditions for troops serving in the AOR.
