Commander of Logistics Command, Securty Forces (Jaffna), Brigadier K P N S K Kariyawasam Lsc AATO made an official visit to Army Base Hospital Palaly on 07 January 2026.
Upon his arrival, the Commander was accorded a ceremonial Drive Pass and he was warmly received by the Commanding Officer of the Army Base Hospital, Palaly Maj PLAA Lekamge. Subsequently, a sapling was planted within the hospital premises, and a group photograph was taken.
Following the briefing presented by the Commanding Officer, Commnder of Logistics Command, Securty Forces (Jaffna) conducted an inspection of the hospital premises and its respective departments. During the visit, he reviewed the medical services provided by the hospital and observed the current operational status. He offered guidance and instructions on necessary improvements to further enhance the quality of patient care. Thereafter, he addressed the hospital staff, signed the Visitors’ Book and concluded the visit.
