With the aim of strengthening relations with the Tamil community, troops of the 11th Battalion the Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment conducted a Civil-Military Cooperation (CIMIC) activity by organizing a beach cleaning programme at Revadi Beach on 22 April 2026.
One officer and 10 other ranks participated in the programme, contributing to the cleaning and maintenance of the coastal area. The initiative was highly appreciated by the residents living in the surrounding area, who commended the Army’s efforts in promoting environmental conservation and community engagement.
