INSPECTION VISIT AT BASE ORDNANCE DEPOT- RAGAMA BY THE COMMANDER LOGISTICS COMMAND

Maj General AMR Abeysinghe ndc, the Commander Logistics Command visited the Base Ordnance Depot on 23 March 2026 as a part of administrative inspection. Upon the arrival the Senior Officer was accorded a Drive pass and warmly welcomed by the Commandant and other officers

The purpose of this inspection was to evaluate the BOD as the central logistics hub for past, current, and future logistic demands. The visit also provided an opportunity for the Commander Logistics Command to interact with troops of the BOD to discuss and address the matters related to Logistics and Administration

The Commander Logistics Command also expressed his appreciation for the dedication and commitment of officers and Other Ranks of the BOD in supporting the operational readiness of Sri Lanka Army
