Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment bid farewell to the former Commandant Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force and Colonel of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment, Major General U D Wijesekera RWP RSP USP rcds psc on 30 December 2023, who retired after serving more than 35 years in the Regular Force of the Sri Lanka Army.
