The troops of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment (SLSR) bade farewell to Major General Keertihi Bandara upon his retirement from the Regular Force of the Sri Lanka Army after serving more than 34 years. The brief ceremony was held at the Regimental Centre (RC) Ambepussa on 16 March 2022, attended by a representative gathering of Officers and Other Ranks.

The troops of ‘Sinha Diriya Piyasa’ Project Centre under Headquarter Battalion in the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment and Sinha Seva Vanitha Branch jointly organized a programme to donate wheelchairs with the assistance of Leo Clubs in Leo Multiple District 306 at the Colombo University. Under the project of ‘Sahurda Yarthra 3.0’ for the 3rd consecutive time, the Leo Club has donated 9 wheelchairs to the differently-abled Sinha War Heroes at the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment.

Troops of 20 SLSR in Yala, Katharagama to hand over another consignment of 40,000 kgs of organic manure, produced by troops serving under the 20 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment, on 21 February 2022 in addition to stocks they handed over to government-owned ‘Lak Pohora’ Ceylon Fertilizer Company Ltd for ongoing distribution among the farming community.
