NEW COMMANDING OFFICER OF 7TH REGIMENT SRI LANKA CORPS OF MILITARY POLICE ASSUMED DUTIES

Amidst the religious observances and the ceremonial formalities, Major B L K S Balasooriya Lsc assumed duties as the 07^thCommanding Officer of 7^th Regiment Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (7 SLCMP) on 08^th August 2024. The newly appointed Commanding Officer was warmly welcomed by the Second in command of 7 SLCMP at the doorstep of the camp premises. Thereafter, the guard turnout was accorded by the troops of 7 SLCMP in honour of the Senior Officer.

The subsequent proceeding was then lined up with the ceremonial parade, planting of a sapling, group photograph and troops address. During the address, the newly appointed Commanding Officer expressed his vision and expectations in the coming years.

Senior Officers, Officer Commandings and Other Ranks were present at the occasion.
