ASSUMING DUTIES OF COMMANDING OFFICER 3RD REGIMENT SRI LANKA CORPS OF MILITARY POLICE

Amidst the religious observances and the ceremonial formalities, Major L G L B Gunarathne USP psc Lsc assumed his duties as the 17 ^th Commanding Officer of 3^rd Regiment Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police on 08^th August 2024 at an auspicious time. On the arrival, the Senior Officer was warmly welcomed by the Second in Command Major K T Randika USP Lsc.

The day’s proceedings commenced with the guard turnout, ceremonial parade, group photograph, planting a sapling, troops address, all rank tea and officers’ address. During the Troops address, the newly appointed Commanding Officer expressed his vision and expectations in the coming years.

The Senior Officers, Officer Commandings, Officers and other Ranks were present at the occasion.
