In coincide with the 75th Army Day, the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (SLCMP) conducted the cleaning programme at the Sri Lankadhara Society Wellawatta on 30 July 2024 under the supervision of the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, Major General S A N D Edirisinghe RWP RSP Hdmc psc.
During the programme, troops of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police removed wrappers, plastic bottles and polythene, which threatened the area's natural beauty. Simultaneously, the group of SLCMP troops Colour washed the Day Care Centers and the Infants Homes. This cleanup effort undertaken by the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police was highly appreciated by the authorities of the Sri Lankadhara Society.
Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police participated in this initiative.
