THE SRI LANKA CORPS OF MILITARY POLICE CONTRIBUTED THEIR SUPPORT FOR THE RELIGIOUS PROGRAMMES ON ESALA POYA DAY AT SRI BODHIRAJARAMAYA PANAGODA

On account of the recent Esala Full Moon Poya Day, a meritorious act organized by the Sri Lanka Army Buddhist Association together with the Regimental Centre, Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police and Regimental Centre Sri Lanka Women's Corps got underway on Saturday 20 July 2024 at the Army Temple Sri Bodhirajaramaya Panagoda.
The religious activities started with the "Bodhipuja and dhamma preaching held at Army Temple Sri Bodhirajaramaya.  The venerable Maha Sangha conducted a dhamma sermon, invoking blessings for the organization, injured, fallen war heroes who paid supreme sacrifice to protect our motherland and their families. Later, an almsgiving for venerable monks and devotees was offered by the troops of the Sri Lanka Army.
In conclusion, the Coriander Dansala organized by the Regimental Centre, Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police commenced where the meritorious people were treated in the evening.   
The Centre Commandant, Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police and Sri Lanka Women's Corps attended the program.
