After assuming duties as the Provost Marshal of the Sri Lanka Army, Brigadier R D Sallay ndc paid first official visit to the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police Officer Commanding Troops (SLCMP - OC Tps) at Mullaitivu on Thursday 06th June 2024.
Upon arrival to the doorstep of the camp premises, the Provost Marshal was warmly welcomed by the Staff Officer 1 of SLCMP OC TPS (MLT), Lt Col KDN Karunarathne USP where the Senior Officer was accorded with a traditional Guard Turnout. The subsequence program was line up with the group photographs, briefing by the staff Officer 1 SLCMP OC TPS, all rank tea and the troops address.
During the troops address, the Provost Marshal briefed on key strategic initiatives, operational matters, fostering an exchange of insights and perspectives essential for the continued success of the military career. Further, the Provost Marshal expressed his desired expectation in coming years from as dedicated Provost Establishment in Army Camp Mullative Area of Responsibility. Before concluding the day’s itinerary, the Provost Marshal placed a record of thoughts and compliments on the Visitors’ Book.
The Senior Officers, Officer Commanding’s of affiliated Provost Companies, Officers and Other Ranks of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police Officer Commanding Troops were present at the occasion.
