BENEFICIAL SUPPORT STANDING TOGETHER WITH CIVIL WORKERS

As the dawn of a new year approached, the Seva Vanitha Branch embarked on a compassionate initiative to support the civil workers of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (SLCMP). In a heartwarming gesture of solidarity and care, the Seva Vanitha Branch distributed dry ration packs to these hardworking individuals.

The event was organized by the Officer Commanding Troops – Mulative (SLCMP OC TPS - MLT) under the supervision of Lieutenant Colonel K D N Karunathna USP, the Staff Officer 1 - SLCMP OCTPS – MLT. This initiative took place on the eve of the New Year on 09 April 2024 at RHQ - SLCMP, resonated with a spirit of benevolence and community support. Amidst the backdrop of festivities, the President of the Seva Vanitha Branch Mrs. Priyanthika De Zoysa graced the occasion as the chief guest with view of extending a helping hand to those who tirelessly contribute to the smooth functioning of the SLCMP.

Dry ration pack worth of Rs.5000.00 was meticulously assembled to cater to the basic needs of the recipients in this challenging times. This great endeavor of the Seva Vanitha Branch captured the essence of the festive season that denotes a time for giving, sharing, and spreading joy.
