The Sinhala and Hindu New Year is a festive season that deeply rooted in tradition and cultural significance. It signifies the dawn of a new beginning, fostering bonds of unity, and spreading joy and prosperity among all. Amidst the festivities and military traditions with the gesture of gratitude and solidarity, the Regimental Center, Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (SLCMP) took the initiative to distribute essential item packs to its Civil Workers.

The Civil Workers of the SLCMP play an integral role while assisting in various administrative tasks. Their dedication and hard work contribute significantly to the smooth functioning of the camp. With a heartfelt desire to express appreciation and extend a helping hand, they received household necessities from Major General A C A De Zoysa USP Hdmc Lsc the Provost Marshal of the Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police

On the eve of the New Year, a small ceremony was organized at the Regimental Center.
