THE ANNUAL INTER UNIT CRICKET TOURNAMENT OF THE SRI LANKA CORPS OF MILITARY POLICE

The Annual Inter Unit Cricket Tournament of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (SLCMP) organized by the 3rd Regiment Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police got underway at 3rd Regiment Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police Cricket Ground in Galkulama under the guidance of the Provost Marshal of Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police Major General A C A De Zoysa USP Hdmc Lsc.

The tournament was organized with the objective of identifying skills and potential cricket players of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police. The initial rounds of the competition were held on 18 and 19 March 2024 with the participation of 9 Teams. In the finale tussle on 20 March 2024, the Regimental Headquarters Cricket Team secured the position as the champion after a thrilling encounter against the 3rd Regiment Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police.

Following Senior Non-Commissioned Officer and Non-Commissioned Officers of Regimental Headquarters Cricket Team obtained the following achievements during the Inter Unit Cricket Tournament.

Corporal Siriwardhana P Y A S - Man of the Match

Corporal Amararathna K G M L -The Best Bowler of the Tournament.
