The awareness lecture programme in related to the Account, Audit, Military and Civil Law Course - 2024 conducted via online by Directorate of Provost was successfully terminated on 29 February 2024. This Course was commenced from 26 February to 29 February 2024 under the direction of the Provost Marshal of the Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, Major General A C A De Zoysa USP Hdmc Lsc.
The objective of this course was to enhance the knowledge of Other Ranks in the field of Account, Audit, Military and Civil Law with the professional guidance from Legal officer and Account Officer of Directorate of Provost. The course is comprised with following theoretical and practical aspects:
Introduction to audit in public and non - public funds
Observation related to the procurement procedure
Case study on investigation related to public and non - public audits
Overview of military law and civil law in relation to investigation.
In the conclusion of the course, 103 Other Ranks were awarded with certificates by the Provost Marshal of the Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, Major General A C A De Zoysa USP Hdmc Lsc on 29 February 2024 as a witness of successful completion of the Course. Colonel Provost, Staff Officer 1, Legal officer and Account Officer of Directorate of Provost participated to the closing address via Zoom Technology.
