3 SLCMP BOOSTS THE WELLBEING OF DESERVED CHILDREN

A comprehensive aided programme organized by the 3rd Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police was held on 14 February 2024 to enhance the lives and wellbeing of deserved children at the Abhaya Childrens' Home - Anuradhapura. .

Under the direction of the Provost Marshal of the SL Army and the Colonel Commandant of SLCMP, Major General A C A De Zoysa USP Hdmc Lsc and with the guidance of the President of the SLCMP Seva Vanitha Branch, Mrs. Priyanthika De Zoysa, the initiative was undertaken in coincide with Monthly Activity of SLCMP Seva Vanitha Branch.

The event was steered by the Officers and ORs of 3 SLCMP under the patronage of the Commanding Officer Lt Col M D S U K Weerasinghe USP psc where 50 Children were benefited with the essential routine items packs worth about Rs.8000.00. The day’s program was terminated with the delicious luncheon offered to the children by the 3 SLCMP.
