Under the direction of the Provost Marshal of Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, Major General A C A De Zoysa USP Hdmc Lsc, The School of Military Police conducted the Unit Provost Course No 3 for all Arms soldiers from 02 Oct 2023 to 12 Oct 2023.
The certificates awarding ceremony and the closing remarks were held on 12 October 2023 at School of Military Police. The objective of the Course was to enhance the knowledge of all Arms soldiers to carry out the regimental police duties of their respective units and establishments.
The content of the course included the theoretical and practical aspects of the Regimental Police Duties, Document checkings, Custody, Detention, Military Law, Dress Regulation, IHL & HR, Disciplinary Regulation, Leadership and Management. In the conclusion of the course, the certificates were awarded to 35 Other Ranks who successfully completed the unit Provost Course No 3 by the Commandant of School of Military Police, Colonel D D D Serasinghe USP.
