TROOPS OF SLCMP ACTIVELY ATTENDED TO FLOOD RELIEF OPERATIONS IN FLOOD AFFECTED AREAS AT MATARA DISTRICT

Under the direction of the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage RWP RSP ndu, the flood relief operations were started in flood affected areas at Matara District and troops of SLCMP provide their manpower to infantry troops who have been engaged in flood relief emergencies under the the close supervision of the Provost Marshal of Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, Major General ACA De Zoysa USP Hdmc Lsc. During the Army Humanitarian Rescue Operation, SLCMP troops provide their assistance to supply cooked meals and other essential items to affected civilians who are staying in temporary Places.
