VISIT OF THE PROVOST MARSHAL OF SL ARMY AND THE COLONEL COMMANDANT OF SLCMP TO 4 SLCMP

After assuming duties as the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police and the Provost Marshal of the Sri Lanka Army, Major Gen A C A De Zoysa USP Hdmc Lsc paid his first official visit to the 4^th Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police, Kankasanthurei on 21st August 2023.

Upon his arrival, the senior officer, was warmly welcomed by the Commanding Officer of 4 SLCMP, Major H L S K Jayatissa Lsc along with the all Officers of 4 SLCMP. In honour of the first official visit as the Operational and Administrative Commander of the SLCMP, the senior officer was accorded a traditional Guard Turnout at the door step of the unit.

Afterwards, charming ceremonial proceeding were held including a group photograph, planting of a sapling as remembrance, followed by a troops address in which Colonel Command and the Provost Marshal expressed his visionary ideas, guidance, values of soldering as a provost in contemporary situation and military wellbeing.

All ranks of 4 SLCMP rendered the delightful hospitality with the all rank tea arranged with the traditionally authentic and mouth sweeting refreshments thus allowing all ranks to have an informal interaction with a their supreme head of the provost. The official visit was concluded with the signing of the Visitors’ Book in remembrance of his visit to 4 SLCMP.
