DEPUTY CHIEF OF STAFF OF THE SRI LANKA ARMY CONDUCTED ADMINISTRATION INSPECTION AT REGIMENTAL CENTRE SRI LANKA CORPS OF MILITARY POLICE

The administrative inspection of the Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police was conducted by Major General Jagath Kodithuwakku RWP RSP ndu the Deputy Chief of Staff of Sri Lanka Army at the Regimental Centre Polhengoda on 29 March 2022.

The inspection was conducted aiming to impart professional standards of the Army and discharging of responsibilities to uplift the smooth functioning of the Regiment, Units and School of Military Police and rectified the shortcomings, lapses and sorted out pending matters.

On arrival, the Deputy Chief of Staff was warmly welcomed by Major General Anil Illangakoon, Colonel Commandant, Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police together with Colonel Ramesh Sallay Centre Commandant. Initially he was greeted by customary Guard Turnout at the entrance to the SLCMP Regimental Centre.

Day's proceeding commenced with the welcome speech by the Colonel Commandant and during opening remarks the Deputy Chief of Staff highlighted the importance of administrative inspections and objective is not to find faults at the regiment affairs, but to rectify all the observations made during the preliminary inspection. Commander Logistics Command, Director General Personal Administration, Directors and staff Officers, tabled their observations and laid down procedures related to admin functions and affairs. Finally, the Centre Commandant thanked all participants for their untiring effort for the administration inspection and healthy discussions/recommendations during the cause of presentation.
