COURTESY VISITS TO UNDER COMMAND UNITS BY THE COLONEL COMMANDANT SRI LANKA CORPS OF MILITARY POLICE PRIOR TO THE BID FAREWELL

The Commander Logistic command and Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police (SLCMP) Major General Ranjan Premalal USP, made his courtesy visits to the 2 SLCMP and School of Military Police (Sch of MP) - Girithale , 1 SLCMP and Special Investigation Unit (SIU) - Polhengoda and 7 SLCMP - Diyatalawa on 17,20 and 22 July 2021 respectively prior to his Retirement.

Colonel Commandant was warmly welcomed by the Commanding Officers and the Commandant of School of Military Police. The senior Officer accorded with ceremonial proceedings. Events comprised with sapling of trees, all ranks tea and troop address by the Colonel Commandant. During the address Colonel Commandant admired the Provost Troop’s contribution to maintain the Military Discipline in the Army and their commitment to other Military Police duties. Colonel DMA Bandara - Commandant Sch of MP, Colonel AMR Abeysinghe - Commanding Officer SIU, Lieutenant Colonel RMN Rathnayake USP Lsc - Commanding Officer 1 SLCMP, Lieutenant Colonel SP Kasthuriarachchi - Commanding Officer 7 SLCMP, Major NPEN Nerangama USP Lsc - Commanding Officer 2 SLCMP, Senior Officers and Other Ranks of particular Units were participated in their respective places to the events. The events held in keeping military traditions and adhering to the health guidelines of COVID-19.
