OPENING OF NEW LECTURE HALL IN SCHOOL OF MILITARY POLICE – GIRITHALE

The Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police and Commander, Forward Maintenance Area (North Central), Maj Gen LPR Premalal USP paid his official visit to the School of Military Police in parallel to the inauguration of the newly constructed lecture hall in School of Military Police. – Giritale on 28th November 2020. On his arrival, he was accorded with a Guard Turnout (Drive pass) by the troops and warmly welcomed by the Commandant of School of Military Police. Afterward, the Colonel Commandant was briefed by the Commandant School of Military Police on training, administrative aspects, and function of the School. During the troop's address, Colonel Commandant expressed his vision and stressed the importance of training in different professional aspects of the career and maintenance of the highest standards of discipline. Further, Colonel Commandant inspected the progress of the ongoing construction and renovation process at the School of Military Police. The provost marshal – SL Army and Center Commandant – RHQ SLCMP together with several senior officers, officers, and other rankers participated in the programme.
